An early proof-of-concept for an educational game to be used as a learning tool in accordance with the 5th grade common core standards for math. 

With the ability to upload formulas and create questions, this tool is meant to be used as both a supplement to lessons and potentially a homework substitute. 

In this game, students use math to fight enemies and complete quests, unlocking cosmetic upgrades and applying the math concepts that they have learned in class.

Grade 5 Common Core Math Curriculum (summarized):

1. Develop a fluency with the addition and subtraction of fractions, as well as an understanding of the multiplication and division of fractions.

2. Develop an understanding of operations with decimals to the hundredths, as well as a fluency with whole number and decimal operations.

3. Develop an understanding of volume.

For this proof of concept, we focused on the first point, operations with fractions.
